BC Registered Massage Therapist
Helping people alleviate pain, improve mobility, and cultivate body awareness through a combination of massage therapy and personalized education on how the body functions and adapts to day-to-day life.
My Work
As someone who is constantly learning, exploring, and deepening my understanding of both the body and mind, my treatments are dynamic and varied. While I’m first and foremost a massage therapist with a solid foundation in addressing my clients' needs through this lens, my life experiences along with my studies in energetic healing, also deeply inform the way I work.
Treatment Style
My treatments are intentional and methodical, remaining curious about how the body is responding as I work. I typically use a blend of deep tissue, fascial release, joint play, and general osteopathic techniques, but my approach is always evolving. Throughout a massage, I’m continually assessing and adjusting based on how the body is responding to the techniques I am using. This allows me to adapt the treatment in the moment, ensuring my approach aligns with the body’s needs. As a result, the techniques I choose can shift—sometimes moving from focused, specific and deep to light, slow, and expansive—all depending on the signals the body provides. My intention is always for my clients to leave feeling lighter, freer, and empowered, with simple homecare solutions that will support them between sessions.
Embracing the Mystery
If there’s one thing I’ve learned in my years as a massage therapist, it’s that the body is profoundly complex in the way it signals its struggles. Physical pain can arise not only from injury, but also from emotional stress or even a disconnection from one’s sense of purpose and meaning—often a combination of these factors. My approach to massage is to to embrace this mystery, creating space for the unknown to unfold and guide the individual’s healing process.
